We realized that a brand identity is more than a color palette, typeface, or layout of shapes. It is a symbol that provides familiarity, elicits meaning, and evokes emotions towards your company and/or product. It is also the most important asset of your business or organization.

Ouro Preto
Ouro Preto is a region in Brazil, known for its coffee and unique “black gold” ore. When translated Ouro Preto means Black Gold and can be related to the cafes main product, coffee. A previous cafe existed in the Ouro Preto’s new location under different ownership and identity. The goal was to create a new look and experience for the returning clientele. Another objective was to tie into the meaning of Ouro Preto while creating a sense of curiosity.

OurHealthyMinds
Our Health Minds is a community of support for everyone who is affected by mental illness. OurHealthyMinds contracted Propel Design to develop a new logo that conveyed the intentions of the organization - "OurHealthyMinds is about mental health. It celebrates the many ways we can be well, and honours the many ways we can experience mental illness - as an individual, a caregiver, a parent, a child or loved one."

Marlin Community
Propel Design was selected by AlphaSearch Internet Marketing to develop an identity for California-based Intertrust's Marlin content sharing platform. Marlin is the world's leading Open DRM system and a joint project of Sony Corporation, Panasonic, Philips Electronics, and Samsung Electronics.

MiraDENT
Gauthier, Marchand & Associates commissioned Propel Design to recreate their image. The previous image was in the form of pre-designed stock imagery found in Dental Industry catalogues. While it spoke dentistry it did not reflect the modern and contemporary feel that they wished to convey. Gauthier, Marchand & Associates operate in a state of the art facility providing services found in much larger offices.
